The kit is easy to install and works well. I have one in each of the 3 Flushmate equipped toilets. The first kit was installed in Jan. 2019. The cable broke in Dec. 2020, The long term reliability of the cable is questionable, based on my experience and other reviews here. I'm keeping a spare available. Flushmate should address the cable design and construction.

This was presented as the solution to the original 503 flush lever mechanism failure after about 15 years of service. I installed this replacement flush lever solution, and have purchased two more, but just for the cable, as the first one installed April 2019, only lasted 1 year, then broke. Can the wire rope cable be beefed up, so it won't break? Build them to last, like you build the rest of components in your Sloan Flush Mate toilet flush mechanisms. Thank you for the opportunity to remark on your forum. Sincerely, CM
