I've owned a Flushmate since 1993. The old tank finally went bad. Called Sloan & replacement sent out. I'm a big fan of pressure assisted toilets, especially since we're dealing with low water consumption.......and a big fan of Sloan. I would never be without a Flushmate tank system. Never felt you could go wrong with this product.

My old 501A from 1996 was on its last legs and Bobby in Tech Support told me that alas it was time to replace the unit. He walked me through the details, gave me the part numbers, answered all my questions about compatibility. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with my questions.
I received the replacement unit yesterday and this morning set about installing it. The instructions were all perfectly clear and everything was going well until I hit a snag on the tank-to-bowl gasket. The new gasket appeared too large and incompatible with the old. So I called Tech Support again and spoke with Martin, who reassured me it was normal — a universal gasket that compresses — and walked me through how to reattach the tank. Ten minutes later the job was completed with no "New System Adjustments" required.
Their Tech Support department is top notch. Five stars.

The installation would have gone faster if the printed instructions were more specific. The bolts we removed from the porcelain tank were both the same. The new bolts were different, one thinner & smaller, the other thicker & larger. Which one was inside & which one outside? No help from the instructions. The old tank did not use gaskets, the new one had them: one inside & one outside? No mention in the instructions. It all came down to how much space was left to mount the bowl.
I was also told that a wrench would be included with my order. It was not. The wrench would have made things goes faster. It took about an hours and forty five minutes to get the unit back together & adjusted.

Very pleased with the service and communication with sales staff. Installed new vessel on 5/10 and all seems to be working properly. I would highly recommend doing business with them.
