Two Piece ToiletA two piece toilet is made of two separate pieces of vitreous china, a holding tank and a bowl. The holding tank is mounted on the bowl by the installer using washers, nuts and bolts. Everything went well. The installation kit helped a lot. The toilet tank bolts broke when removing them. It’s a good idea to order the bolt kit, since the rubber washers should be replaced. Satisfied. Good service.

There's something really wonderful about the simplicity and cleverness of this gizmo. It's actually very easy to install it into the toilet tank and it's hard to get it wrong even if you have only a very basic knowledge of plumbing like I do. I've had one of these go bad before and attempted to buy just the cartridge unit to fix it but was disappointed that it didn't work. This purchase was for a new install into a Kohler Highline toilet.
NOTE: this unit as sold to me did not include the right handle for the Highline tank...basically it seems that this unit is sold as a replacement unit...there's really no way for the seller to know what toilet you're putting this into and various toilet models have different flush hardware (the thing that the toilet handle triggers and pushes the flush button on the top of the pressure vessel.) You need to be aware that unless you have the right flush lever hardware you're not going to have all the parts to install this into a new toilet.
