Flushmate ST100500 Cartridge Wrench

The Flushmate ST100500 Cartridge Wrench, is designed to remove or adjusted the Flushmate Cartridge assemlby. The Flushmate wrench can be used to remove or adjust the Flushmate cartridge assembly The ST100500 Wrench is designed to work with Flushmate cartridges for 1.6GPF and 1.0 GPF Flushmate models including Series 501A, 501B, 503, and 504.

The Flushmate Flush Valve Cartridge is located on top the Flushmate system in the center of the vessel. This is the main valve that opens and closes to deliver the water to the toilet bowl. The ST100500 Wrench can be used to remove or adjust the cartridge. The ST100500 Cartridge Wrench works with the Flushmate Cartridges C-100500, C-100501, C-100502 and C-100101.

You don't NEED this wrench, but you are really going to wish you had it ten minutes into the job when your pliers handle jig pops out for the fifth time and you start cursing at the stuck cartridge. The wrench applies the torque centrally and equally to all the fins, making the job infinitely easier. I tried it without it and then bought one. It is absolutely worth the money.

I am an admitted tool junkie, that said, this tool is worth every penny spent. Yeah, you can use the handles of a pair of pliers, and have them pop off a few times before removing the valve, but this tool is the right way to do the job. It makes the removal of a stubborn valve much easier, and installation/adjustment of the new valve a breeze. Get the tool-repair like a pro-save time and sanity.
