The Echo-Flush unit in my Gerber toilet began to leak in multiple places after about 8 years of acceptable service. I ordered this Flushmate unit to replace it and am very happy with it. The original shipment from flushmate did not include the flush handle and corresponding flush mechanism that screws to the top of the pressure tank - those parts were missing in the box with this kit. I called Flushmate customer service and they send me out the missing parts which arrived the next day. Overall, installation was easy after viewing the helpful videos on the Flushmate website. I was also happy to discovered that operating the Flushmate is somewhat quieter than the Echo-Flush.

We have/had Mansfield EcoFlush 2-stage flush toilets, one sprang a leak, the other is fine still. Time to replace the leaker. Research finally revealed that this was the best across-the-board replacement, Ordered the product, got here quite fast, all parts needed were included. I needed a Philips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, a crescent wrench, and a large monkey wrench to disassemble the old unit and install the replacement. Tools here at home.
It took me 2.5 hours to do the entire job while my husband was at work. I took my time. A couple internet searches to find out how to take the old handle off from the outside first, and that I needed to remove the top tank from the bowl to make the job super easy to remove the old pressure tank and install the new. Again, I took my time and made sure I understood the instructions well, was careful with everything.
Everything went perfectly. The unit is tight, no leaks, and it's such a pleasure to no longer hear the dripping of water. The pressure now moves the waste out completely, with one flush.
Will not hesitate to purchase this unit again if the other toilet pressure tank follows the first.
Thanks!!
